FAQ

What is the difference between 3263m and 2481m?

Both frames have been designed for a great fashionable look.
The 3264m is more square and slightly larger, ideal for medium and larger faces.
The 2841m is slightly rounder, smaller and more curved, ideal for medium and smaller faces.
Fitting and temple adjustment is the same on both frames.

 Do I need Photocromic lenses?

Photochromic lenses seamlessly adapt to the perfect shade so you see with just the right amount of light.
If you want lenses that will adjust from clear indoors to light in overcast weather to dark in sunny conditions, photochromic lenses are for you.
The Carl Zeiss lenses option for 3264m are not photochromic, however, the fixed tint is suitable for full sun or light cover like clouds or shade.

 Are Alpinamente lenses polarized?

No, we instead use an anti-reflective coating to block out the reflection inside your lenses.
Polarized lenses use tiny vertical stripes to reduce glare, but can also reduce visibility, especially around bright horizontal objects (like icy patches when skiing).

Can I use Alpinamente sunglasses for cycling or skiing?

Yes! You can use Alpinamente for any sport where you need eye protection with perfect vision, a secure comfortable fit and good looks.
As with all sport sunglasses, if you use a helmet, please check the fit inside your helmet. Play safe!

What is the warranty?

Alpinamente uses the best quality materials and construction, and offers a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects.
Like any high performance sports equipment, please look after them as the warranty doesn't cover normal wear and tear and accidents.
